Adidas SHORI – kimono for kata competitors

The Adidas SHORI kimono was designed in collaboration with kata experts and is intended for competitors who demand a high standard from their karategi. You will encounter it at Premier League, Series A, Youth League tournaments, and at World and European Championships. For example, the Italian national team practices in it (data as of 2026).

Quality that lasts

The kimono features a modern, slimmer cut jacket. The seams at the bottom of the jacket, on the sleeves, and on the pant cuffs are specially reinforced, allowing the kimono to withstand demanding training and a long competition season. High-waisted pants fit well and do not restrict stances or kicks. The material (60% cotton, 40% polyester) excels with a great snap effect. The stitching at the ends of the sleeves and the jacket is also reinforced. During practice, these reinforced ends create a more pronounced sound effect and visually enhance the competitor's movement dynamics.
